Two months after my original review.
Ordered some breakfast after getting off work. Left and was half way home before I realized my order was wrong. Called and asked to speak to Shannon the store manager and she was very nice and asked me if I would like to come back and get my order right. I told her I was already almost home and she told me to come back when I could and ask to speak to her an she would replace my order for free. After all the bad reviews I was iffy but had a very good experience. Thank you to the staff and store manager.
The wait to actually receive the food is out of proportion with a fast food restaurant.
I waited in the drive thru line one Friday evening, excited to be able to get food after 11pm in this small town. I've lived here for years and McDonald's always closes at 12am on Friday and Saturday. I listen while the person next to me places their order. I wait. A guy comes on the speaker telling me they are closed for the evening. Before 11:30pm. The answer to why, when I called and finally received an answer after 5 minutes of ringing, is only 2 people on staff that evening. The same number of people manning the Burger King right down the road.
Red red red red red red red red! Neck neck neck neck neck neck neck neck neck! The food was grate the people where friendly. and they were keeping it country for real. I witnessed a man stop in to get a happy meal on the way to the hospital. his wife was in labor in the car! no joke! now you know those nuggets have to be good.
The only nice person is the lady with the British accent.
Why is there no lettuce on my big mac!?
Service is always super slow, no matter the time of day. They like to turn off the lights 10+ minutes before close. No one is every very friendly.

I wouldn't even give this location one star. I was here yesterday and had to wait a half hour in the drive thru. Today I decided to come in to hopefully make this a quick stop. I ordered a coffee, and an orange juice... I waited yet another 30 minutes for drinks... During my wait the manager on duty yelled to her employees that she was going to take a break while there were numerous people waiting for their orders and a line out to the door of people waiting to order. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially during breakfast hours.
This is probably one of the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. There is almost always a wait here no matter what time of day and no matter how many people are there. The staff is constantly being replaced and almost all of the workers are young kids.
My orders are almost always screwed up.
The food here can range from average to downright disgusting. I have had fries that weren’t cooked all the way, burgers that were so old that I threw them out instead of eating them, and beverages where the flavor/carbonation was all out of proportion.
Definitely check you bag before you leave the drive through. They frequently forget food items and sometimes give you the wrong order. Always ask for a receipt so you aren’t paying for someone else’s giant order. You always have to ask for napkins.
So. All in all, don't come here expecting quality or quickness. Neither are the forte at Ashland City McDonald's.
