My son just finished 5th grade @CMS. It has been so awful that I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The administration and teachers at this school do not communicate effectively with parents and do not take our concerns to heart. It took more than 2 months to be granted access to the online grading system which was never accurate. Simple agreements were not honored and it was impossible for me to fully trust them with anything since they couldn't even uphold their own policies. I had to call a meeting just to make my position clear and I was made to feel like I was being too picky. They never fully met their obligations to keep me informed on my child's progress in a timely manner. Mrs. Owen has consistently belittled or outright ignored my complaints and therefore damaged my son's academic experience. This has been the most stressful year for me as a parent, and that includes the time when I went through a difficult divorce. If parents were permitted to contribute relevant information towards a school's accreditation process, this one would be experiencing a complete overhaul!
This school is one of the best, ive learned more about life and how to go through it than any other school may. Sometimes it can be overwhelming but the teachers will help with any situation you have yourself in. I am very happy that i had the opportunity to go here i do hope any other can go here. To conclude this school has gave me the best 4 years of my early teen to middle teen i am very happy to have met some of the best teachers and students here. 2011-2015
