I had friends down for the weekend and we went for a cruise...it was great!!! Love the Captain!!! It was so much fun...and just beautiful!!!

Decent cruise to see wildlife and landscape. Beautiful views. Really a lot of fun for kids, with water guns and bouncy balls. Tour guide we had really knew his stuff about the area. Nice boat with shaded seating. They also provided chips and drinks. Cute and fun for most ages! Also, great value.

Took my son for his 5th birthday and these guys are so nice and fun. They had toys for the kids and truly kept them all entertained. Beautiful little cruise and so worth it.

My wife and I have have cruised on the Blue Heron about twice a year for the last five years. Of all the events we frequently enjoy, this one truly ranks at the top of the list. The Blue Heron is a pontoon boat that cruises up and down the Cumberland River, which leaves from the River Bluff dock in Ashland City, Tennessee. This area is stunningly beautiful, and can be enjoyed once if you are from out of town or over and over again if you live nearby. The cruises are very reasonably priced, and Captain Jim Steele is a fine host and will take great care of all aboard his vessel. You will also be provided with complimentary snacks. There is a restroom at River Bluff Park, very near the boat dock, and also a restroom aboard the boat itself. If you want a meal after your cruise, just on the other side of the river is Riverview Restaurant, which I also recommend. Of all the things to do around the Nashville area, there is nothing I would recommend any higher than going aboard the Blue Heron. Book a reservation by phone or online soon and expect a fun outing. Five stars all the way!

Had great. Scenic river . cruise up the Cumberland river. Cheep prices.
